  We just held our mother's service and burial at Pine Hills Cemetery in Scarborough. The funeral directors I worked with were amazing. Basically I was told from the beginning, whatever your thoughts are, we will look after. They gave us full reign of what we wanted to do for mom and helped us carry out each task. The cemetery side was just as co operative. We had the choice of staying for full coverage or leaving at any point up to it. We were not rushed and had music outside at the time of burial. Both sides made our emotional day a little easier for us.

  My sister was buried two days ago and the price for everything especially the casket was super jacked up by at lease 70%. Funeral homes should be compassionate

  There are real issues with litter in the ravines and fence line areas and entrance ways of this cemetery. They need to step up their litter pick up. or hire more staff to deal with it. Yes the public should not be littering however they do need to take some responsibilities for the clean up. The same litter is there for months. I find it disrespectful to the relatives of those buried there and the neighbourhood. I have a relative buried there and am not happy with how things often look. Please clean up!!
