    During my tour, I visited four (4) buildings which include the McCowan Log House in which William McCowan lived there with his mother and sister and this Log House was built around the 1830's.

    Just attended the museum's Desserts by Lamplight holiday event and it was just lovely. So nice to see this old house lit the way it would have been back in the day and with period Christmas decorations and utterly fantastic desserts -- plus live music from a saxophone quartet! Such a great night out! (Loved the log cabin, by the way.)

    Enjoyed the tour! It is a small exhibit of 2 historic style houses, so tours seem to occur spontaneously, when one shows up.

    The Cornell House was owned by Charles and Matilda Cornell where they lived there with their eight (8) children and the house was built in 1858.

    Lastly, there is the Kennedy Gallery which is a multi-use room used for various activities and events and Right Now they are hosting an Art Exhibit put on by the students of one (1) of the local schools.
